The Web2.0 colours of 2007
Posted June 29th, 2007 in Industry, Web Technology
They’re finally released – the 99 Scruptious colours of 2007, Web2.0 style!
After the fun and excitement of the original Web2.0 colour palette, which I created back in Feb 2006, I have been itching to do it again. Now that we’re exactly halfway through 2007, it seems fitting to throw these files out in the wild now.
Behold, the lovely downloadable files as follows;
- JPG version (106kb)
- PNG version (28kb)
- Photoshop Swatches File (Zipped, 4kb)
As usual, please comment if you have any issues, and don’t forget to grab the original 2006 Web2.0 colour swatches, if you haven’t already!

Excellent job Miles! This is starting to become a meme – I can just imagine all the Web 2.0 companies waiting for this years colour palette to come out to see if they made the list.

[...] If you look around the web today, you’ll notice that many websites have transitioned to new designs featuring bright, friendly colors that are not as “in your face” as sites used to be. Colors are more blended now and are meant to attract the reader and draw them in. Take this into account when you are choosing the colors for your website. If you’re looking for a good tool to help you pick out colors for your site, head on over to the Color Scheme Generator and play around for awhile. Or if you want a handy reference for the current Web 2.0 colors, head over to the Web 2.0 colors of 2007.
