Port80 Melbourne

Ruins of a church wall, London UK

Well, it had to happen. Enough WA folk have slowly drifted out of Perth to the east coast, that we’re now setting up a Port 80 in Melbourne with the help of a couple of ex-local Perth members. That makes Port80 chapters in Perth, Canberra, Rochester NY (USA) and Melbourne.

It’s a night of drinks, discussion, more drinks and maybe some food. This event is perfect for anyone who works in the web industry in Victoria. It’s an informal night of networking with your peers and colleagues – please come along, have a beer, talk about the industry and enjoy conversation with other designers, developers, project managers and industry folk.

We’re piggy backing with another group, focussed on Ruby on Rails, so we should be getting a crowd.

It’s all happening from 6pm, Wednesday 5th July at The Union Club Hotel, Fitzroy. You can read all the fine details here – I hope to see you there (yes, I am flying over for it)!

I know those ruins.. that’s an unusually blue sky for London, I think you’ve been photoshopping.

    See you on the 5th
